Qualcomm Incorporated Company Snapshot
Qualcomm Incorporated operates in the Radio & TV communications equipment sector. In addition to historical fundamental analyses, the complete report available to purchase compares Qualcomm with three other audio-visual equipment producers in North America: ARRIS International plc (2016 sales of $6.83 billion of which 70% was Customer Premises Equipment), Nokia Oy ($26.06 billion of which 92% was Nokia Networks Total), and L3 Technologies Inc ($10.51 billion of which 41% was Electronic Systems).

Sales Analysis. Qualcomm reported sales of $23.55 billion for the fiscal year ending September of 2016. This represents a decrease of 6.8% versus 2015, when the company's sales were $25.28 billion. Contributing to the drop in overall sales was the 10.2% decline in Cdma Technologies (Qct), from $17.15 billion to $15.41 billion. There were also decreases in sales in Technology Licensing (Qtl) (down 3.6% to $7.66 billion) . However, these declines were partially offset by the increase in sales of Strategic Initiatives (Qsi) (up 1,075.0% to $47.00 million) and Reconciling Items (up 146.6% to $434.00 million) .
