The sales level in 2018 was fairly close to the level five years ago: in 2013, Bridgestone had sales of ¥3.57 trillion. Sales of Tires saw an increase that was more than double the company's growth rate: sales were up 0.7% in 2018, from ¥3.02 trillion to ¥3.04 trillion. Not all segments of Bridgestone experienced an increase in sales in 2018: sales of Diversification fell 2.2% to ¥609.01 billion.
