Oracle Corporation Company Snapshot
Oracle Corporation operates in the Prepackaged software sector. In addition to historical fundamental analyses, the complete report available to purchase compares Oracle with three other software companies in North America: Intuit Inc. (2019 sales of $6.78 billion of which 52% was Small Business), Electronic Arts, Inc. ($4.95 billion of which 45% was Live Services), and Nortonlifelock Inc ($4.73 billion of which 51% was Consumer Cyber Safety).

Sales Analysis. Oracle reported sales of $39.51 billion for the fiscal year ending May of 2019. This represents a decrease of 0.8% versus 2018, when the company's sales were $39.83 billion. The sales level in 2019 was fairly close to the level five years ago: in 2014, Oracle had sales of $38.28 billion. Contributing to the drop in overall sales was the 7.2% decline in Hardware, from $3.99 billion to $3.70 billion. There were also decreases in sales in Service Business (down 4.5% to $3.24 billion) . However, these declines were partially offset by the increase in sales of Cloud and License (up 0.3% to $32.58 billion) .
